L’Invité

During your stay in Amsterdam a dinner at one of the Amsterdam canals, in a canal house which was built in 1628, situated in the heart of the Jordaan, is almost a ‘must’.  The restaurant is situated at the Bloemgracht. Close to the Prinsengracht. The Bloemgracht is part of the Jordaan which was built in the early 17th century. The Jordaan was traditionally a working class Amsterdam neighborhood and  famous for its warm, welcoming and easy going atmosphere. It is here that we highlight “Restaurant L’Invité”.

A restaurant with a classic French cuisine combined with the finest Dutch organic products. Dishes prepared with a modern and original twist. The warm, cozy and authentic atmosphere guarantees you a romantic candlelight dinner. For you it will be a fantastic experience to dine in an ‘Old Amsterdam’  way. It was in this neighborhood  and on the Bloemgracht that the famous Dutch painter Rembrandt van Rijn hired a house to give painting lessons to 25 students. For sure it is a great experience to see this historical part of Amsterdam.
