A’DAM Tower

On  May 14th,  2016 the A’dam Tower officially opened its doors for public. The former Shell Tower has been transformed in the A’DAM Tower.  With a height of 80 meters, situated at the IJ, opposite the Amsterdam Central Station and next to the EYE Film Institute you will find this tower. From the roof of this building visitors can experience the stunning views like looking at the historical center of Amsterdam, its port or Dutch polder landscape. You can also have a great swing! There is a swingset, specially designed  for thrill-seekers (of course in a safety-harness) flying back and forth over the edge of the building. Originally the tower was built in 1971 for Royal Dutch Shell and was called the ‘Shelltower’.
